Advanced electrolysis

Sterex is an advanced electrolysis treatment that is a fast, effective, safe and a new solution for the removal of skin imperfections. Procedures typically last from 5 to 30 seconds per skin imperfection, so you can be in and out of the clinic quickly.

Sterex works by emitting a small electrical current which allows us to work with millimetre precision, meaning even the smallest of areas can be targeted. Due to the technologies incredible accuracy, results are immediate and there is no collateral damage to healthy tissue.

Our clients describe this as a quick and efficient treatment with little discomfort,  likening the sensation to a quick pin prick. There is very little downtime, however, if you are having your face treated you may want to leave two weeks before any special occasions.

Please note that we do not treat white or dark moles of any kind. Please consult your GP if you have any mole concerns

FAQ

  • How long does the treatment take?

You will initially have a full consultation to include a medical questionnaire, and a thorough examination of the blemish to ensure that it is safe to be removed. Once this has been completed the actual treatment generally takes no more than 5 to 30 seconds per skin imperfection.

  • How long will the effects last?

Most blemishes, once treated will not return. However, there is  always a risk that the blemish will re-grow, or others may appear in the same area. If this is the case, repeat treatments may be required.
